AUSTIN-TRAN | Michael Austin and Paul Tran were married on Saturday afternoon, March 13, at the Bath House Cultural Center at White Rock Lake. Afterward, they left for their honeymoon in New York City, and were legally married in New Haven, Conn., on March 16. Austin, 28, is a doctoral student at the University of Texas at Dallas and is an associate professor of music at Collin College. He is a sound artist and is currently working on a project with the Dallas Museum of Art. Tran, 30, is a doctoral candidate at the University of Texas at Dallas and serves on the board of directors for Equality Texas.
