It’s possible to follow Christ and be gay, with no conflict between the two. If he is gay, maybe he’s still trying to find that balance. It’s not easy with both sides shouting in your ears.
First of all, it is sad that because he is a devout Christian and chooses to go against the flow and save himself for marriage, he is criticized as being gay. And whoever posted this, the word is “lisp”, not “list” and funny I’ve never met a gay man with one; so yes, he is being stereotyped. Here is a talented guy in the professional sports guy who is a devout Christian and not ashamed to display that, and not promiscuous, which is more typical in the sports’ world and in most young people in this day and age. He is a wonderful role model, and just because he is not the typical macho type doesn’t make him gay. He talks with his hands, he is not “flamboyant.” Even if he were effeminate, there is no evidence that that equates homosexuality. Research it.
This is a gay paper. He isn’t being criticized for being gay. It’s a compliment.

I was in a frat when I was at UF and we saw Tebow at the house more than a few times. It was known in certain circles that Tebow was, in fact, gay. He hooked up with various guys the whole time he was there, just very discrete about it- and he felt safe since most gay guys don’t follow sports. Some on campus and in the frat had the feeling, after hanging with him, that he got into football so much so that he could find another “football bud” to be with. And it is possible to be gay and religious… seen and known a few. Timmy will eventually come out, just watch, but he needs to find a time and place when he feels comfortable to do it on his own terms.
What a joke! People really, still in this day and age buy the ‘I’m a virgin because I’m a X-tian’ routine? When he finally comes out, it will be interesting to see how the X-tians will inevitably turn against him, say how they ‘love the sinner and hate the sin,’ same old two-faced, hypocritical crap.
