In the more than two months NOM Exposed has been up and running, we have been pleasantly surprised at the level of engagement by LGBT folks and straight supporters.
Now we want to take it to the next level— and will be doing so very soon. (What a tease…)

NOM’s leaders may not always come across as loud and horrendous as Fred Phelps (of “God hates fags” fame), but they are just as dogged–and more dangerous—in making sure LGBT people can’t get married.
After they hijacked the courts in Iowa earlier this month, Maggie Gallagher and Brian Brown are feeling pretty good. They will continue their PR campaign to make them *look* tolerant or like they “have gay friends and family,” a well-played line Brown used in a newspaper profile last year. (Ann Coulter and straights-only-in-the-military Elaine Donnelly have gay “friends” too, one of the most hysterical, and boorish, claims in the past four decades of the gay civil rights movement.)
