I cannot believe that people can claim they are Christian and associate that belief with being gay. They are two different subjects; one, being religion with its own set of rules, and the other being a lifestyle. If you are a Christian then regardless of your interpretation of the scriptures know there is a judgment day. When that day comes then judgment will be handed down by a higher power. It is not the Christian’s job to judge for judgment is itself a sin; it is not the power of the individual. Being gay is a lifestyle and according to our constitution amendments everyone has a right to the pursuit of happiness. With that written the raid was nothing more than gay motivated by a bunch of hypocritical police officers. It was wrong and we should stop allowing the police to do whatever that want and accepted their excuses which are nothing more than a disguise of their wrong actions. Do they accept your excuse when you’re apprehended? Let’s put a microscope on some of Fort Worth’s finest; Judge Berry that sets on the bench and puts drunk drivers in jail was stopped in Johnson County driving 90 miles an hour, intoxicated, and open beer cans in her van. Why is she on the bench and not serving any time or better yet any community service at the least? Because she is a judge we allow it to be okay for her to drive drunk and not suffer the consequences like the rest of the public, not even paying a restitution combined of court fines or penalties. Why is it okay for the Johnson County policeman to gather and drink at the “Western Place†on Fridays and get so drunk they can hardly walk and allowed to leave the property and drive home? We allow them to drink and drive because they are cops? Is the public aware that a survey was taken by a group of policeman that the results read that 78% of cops would still stay on as policeman even if their pay was taken away? Why, because they have a power that is to do whatever they want and we as the public allow it and go on about our lives and let them get away with this behavior. There need to be someone busting Judge Berry and she should be paying for her crime and someone needs to bust the Western Place bar during happy hours and arrest the intoxicated cops or set near the bar and catch them driving away drunk. Stand up for your rights and stop giving police rights they think they deserve. They are not any better than the rest of us and should be held up to the same laws they other citizens are punished and protected. They had no right in arresting people at the bar for it was adults minding their own business in an adult establishment. Write to whoever you think you may get action about these wrongful actions by the police but don’t do nothing. Do something and keep doing something until it stops. Look at it this way, if you commit a crime like drunk driving you will spend time in jail, go to DWI classes, pay fines and court cost, do community service, and have a record. Would it not be easier to take an hour out of your life on occasion and do something to make policeman adhere to the law? Stop letting Judge Berry think she can drive drunk and stop letting the police happy hour gatherings acceptable behavior. Do something!

LIFESTYLE? ‘scuse me? I hate to be the one to inform you, but scientists are very close to proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that it is *NOT* a lifestye but instead genetic! No, this is not a phalacy but pure cold hard fact.
LIFESTYLE = CHOICE
GENETICS = THE CREATOR’S CHOICE
(God, Goddess, Buddah, Allah or whatever you wanna call it…)
Now, when this evidence hits the light of day, what do you suppose is going to happen to all those churches of anti-gay members? Will they make it out in time if the place is burnt down to the ground as the furry of those persecuted in the past fight back? Sounds like the makings of a great movie to me… We’ll get the guy from TORCHWOOD who’s already undergone these kinds of tests to play the lead role.. You did see him on the LOGO channel didn’t you??
In EUROPE individuals go through TWO forms of commitment.. The first is to the LEGISLATURE and the second is via the CHURCH. So, wether you call it a civil union, or marriage, or handfasting or whatever.. the government sees it the same regardless what the church wants to call it. Too bad America wasn’t smart enough to figure this out long ago.

As a professor with a Doctors degree and considered among the scientist you mention I can assure you that being straight, gay, or whatever niche ones associates themselves with is a characteristic of what is proclaimed as a lifestyle. Your focus should be concerned about the raid whether then trying to pick apart someone comments in which you do not have or hold the educational background or credentials to do any form of critique. Reading the reader digest is third party hearsay. Get your priorities straight and use this forum for what is it for and that is the wrongful arrest of people at a gay bar.
