The homophobic banner near the Texas Christian University campus in Fort Worth has been removed, according to a resident of the neighborhood.
Earlier I reported a Brite Divinity School student tweeted a photo of the banner, which went up ahead of tonight’s football game between the TCU Horned Frogs and West Virginia Mountaineers.
It read “TONIGHT’S SHOWING: BROKEBACK MOUNTAINEERS.”
Tyler Hestom, the Brite student, wrote via text both he and a friend left a note on the residents’ door about the banner’s content.
