Odom.Jimmie RayA celebration of life service for Jimmie Ray Odom, known to friends as Jake, will be held Friday, Feb. 26, at 2 p.m., at Floral Haven Rose Chapel, 6500 S. 129th E Ave., in Broken Arrow, Okla.
A closed-casket visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites, also at 6500 S. 129th E Ave. in Broken Arrow.
A memorial service is being planned in Dallas for friends who are unable to attend the services in Broken Arrow. The Dallas service is tentatively planned for 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at the pavilion in Lee Park.
Odom had been missing since the early morning hours of Jan. 23. Dallas police found his body Feb. 11, but family members were not notified until Feb. 22. (Watch for a more complete report in the Feb. 26 print edition of Dallas Voice.)
Odom was born Dec. 14, 1972 to Linda (Harrison) and Kenneth Odom in Tulsa, Okla. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmie Otis Harrison. A complete obituary will be posted on the Floral Haven website.
