Representatives of the TJX Companies – the Massachusetts-based parent company of TJ Maxx, Home Goods and Marshall’s stores, recently presented a check for $2,500 to Resource Center Dallas in support of the Center’s workforce development programs. In June 2008, the company re-chartered its LGBT employee group as "PRIDE — A TJX Resource Group for Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, Transgendered People and Friends." In spring 2009, The TJX Foundation presented the PRIDE Committee with grant money to assist LGBT organizations across the nation.
