If only Facebook supporters translated into votes in the Texas Legislature!!!
Burnt Orange Report, one of the state’s leading progressive political blogs, notes that House Bill 538 has more Facebook supporters than possibly any other bill filed so far this year. HB 538, sponsored by Democratic Rep. Mike Villarreal of San Antonio, would ban employment discrimination based on sexual orientation/gender identity. (As of this morning, the bill was up to 625 Facebook supporters.)
