The TCU Horned Frogs face off tonight against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Unfortunately, some fans took the football game as an opportunity to advertise their homophobia.
Tyler Heston, a first year divinity student at Brite Divinity School who is also gay, tweeted the photo below. The banner in front of the home near the university’s campus reads “TONIGHT’S SHOWING: BROKEBACK MOUNTAINEERS.” (Wait a minute for the tweet to load.)

The banner refers to the 1997 novel and 2005 movie Brokeback Mountain about the fragile emotional and sexual relationship between two men.
