Texas Stonewall Democrats present a Gubernatorial Town Hall on Sunday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. central via Facebook live. The town hall features Texas gubernatorial candidate Rep. Gina Hinojosa and lieutenant governor candidates Rep. Vikki Goodwin, Courtney Head and Marcos Velez. The event is hosted by Robert Vargas III, president of Texas Stonewall Democrats.
“This town hall will give you the opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, ask questions and engage in a meaningful conversation about equality, justice and the future of Texas,” Vargas said in a press release announcing the event.
“Your voice matters, and your participation helps ensure LGBTQ+ Texans are seen, heard and represented at every level of government,” he added. “We hope you will join us for this important conversation.”
