Candidates endorsed by Stonewall Democrats of Dallas are leading in early voting results.
Former Dallas City Councilwoman Pauline Medrano was ahead by 20 percent in her runoff for Dallas County treasurer. Out candidate Sara Martinez who is in a runoff for a justice of the peace seat led Melissa Bellan by 10 percent.
In statewide Republican races, tea party candidates took the lead in early voting.
In the race for Texas Attorney General, Ken Paxton had a 19-point lead over Dan Branch.
Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst was losing in his race to retain his position against Sen. Dan Patrick.
