The Caven Halloween Block Party on Cedar Springs on Saturday will go on, come rain or come shine.
Rain’s expected — lots of it — before the party begins. But the party will go on, according to Caven Enterprises President Gregg Kilhoffer.
Two years ago, it rained most of the evening, but during the two hours it cleared, the street was packed, Kilhoffer said. He added that he’s expecting at least some clear weather on Saturday night, so the party goes on.
Kilhoffer said he expects the road to be closed by 6 p.m. Cars parked on the street from Reagan to Knight should be off the street after the bars close on Friday. Cars left on the street on Saturday will be towed.
