Kelly McGillis turns 55 on Monday. The actress made herself into a household name with big films that included Top Gun, The Accused and Witness in the ’80s. In 2009, she came out publicly as lesbian in an interview with the site SheWired. Interestingly, she did a guest star stint on Showtime’s The L Word as the closeted Colonel Gillian Davis in 2008.
