Rick Santorum turns 54 on Thursday. The former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania is looking to be a top pick for the vice presidential nominee on the GOP ticket. Santorum, who has consistently been an ardent opponent of LGBT rights, suspended his run for the presidential Republican nomination in April.
