It’s been an interesting week here at the Dallas Voice offices. Tomorrow, our annual Body Edition comes out — lots of stories devoted to fitness, health and beauty, including, as it turns out, a story about tattoos used on the cast of DTC’s Oedipus el Rey. (And you get to find out what Resident Acting Company member is the basis for one of them!)
At the same time, we’ve been all buzzed about college football player Michael Sam’s decision to publicly come out, as well as the support we received from others in the community, including Dale Hansen (who will be featured in the paper).
This confluence of sports, tattoos and men’s bodies in general reminded me of a segment on ESPN last year, a video in support of their own “body” edition featuring sexy 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick. It’s, ummm, very hot.
