Art-pop artist Quentin (any pronouns) continues a breakout year with the release of their new single and video for “TOMGIRL (I’m In My Head)” out today. The track follows a wave of momentum sparked by a string of standout performances during South by Southwest 2026, including appearances with KUTX and SPIN Magazine.
Produced by longtime collaborator kinderr, the song moves from restrained vulnerability to full emotional release.
“It’s the first song that gave me a real sense of purpose, and so I made it the title track. In the video, I peel back every layer—no makeup, just a wig cap, bare skin, and a store window framing me as a spectacle. This is me being brutally vulnerable, showing how we as queer people are often seen but rarely understood. Behind the glass, we’re scrutinized, admired, feared—but this time, I’m reclaiming that gaze,” they said in the song’s announcement.
The video was filmed in Quentin’s hometown of Corpus Christi and marks the first collaboration between Quentin and creative partner Ducky Mane.
