Orville Peck adds Texas to his 2024 tour

This year has been huge for Orville Peck. Last Friday, he dropped his duet album Stampede that features collabs with the likes of Beck, TJ Osborne, Fancy Hagood and Kylie Minogue which rounds out the collection of his duets first introduced as Stampede Vol. 1 in May. He’s been on the road already since June and last week he added Texas dates to the tour with one in Dallas.

“Thank god my exes don’t live in Texas!🤠 Three more nights added to the Stampede Tour this fall,” he posted last Tuesday.

Peck plays Zilker Park in Austin on Oct. 4. He will perform in Dallas at the House of Blues on Oct. 7 with Nikki Lane. He plays Houston the day after also at HOB. Find tickets here.

In addition to the album and tour this year, he announced his sixth annual Rodeo event on Aug. 23 in Nashville where he will headline with Tanya  Tucker. In May, Peck was honored at the 35th GLAAD Media Awards in New York City with the Vito Russo Award presented to a LGBTQ media professional who has made a significant difference in accelerating LGBTQ acceptance. He was introduced by Jennifer Lawrence and delivered a moving speech about his place in the entertainment industry.

Mariah Carey announces 2024 Christmas Tour 

On Friday, the queen of Christmas Mariah Carey announced her holiday extravaganza with Mariah Carey’s Christmas Time visiting 20 cities across the country, kicking off on Nov. 6. Soon after, she’ll stop into Dallas with a total of of three Texas dates overall. She’ll perform in Austin on Nov. 17 and then Houston on Nov. 19. Her holiday show then takes over American Airlines Center where she headlines in Dallas on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Produced by Live Nation, this tour marks Carey’s grandest holiday spectacle to date and is the first of many surprises she has in store to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her album Merry Christmas and the iconic holiday single “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” The show will feature the singer’s holiday classics alongside her signature hits.

Tickets go onsale Friday, Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. Fans can also purchase VIP packages that include premium tix, pre-show VIP lounge and merch.
