beabadoobee releases third album with the new single “Beaches”

Bi indie singer beabadoobee has dropped her third studio album This is How Tomorrow Moves now available to download and stream. Produced by Rick Rubin the album features acclaimed singles “Ever Seen,” “Coming Home” and “Take A Bite.” With the release, she dropped the album single and video for “Beaches.”

She also kicks off a new tour this month beginning in the U.K, but no Texas dates have been announced.

New video previews queer singer/songwriter Joy Clark’s debut album

Louisiana-born, singer-songwriter and guitarist Joy Clark is gearing up to release her debut album, Tell it to the Wind, out on Oct. 4 on Righteous Babe Records. Growing up queer, and the youngest of five in a religious family, the album is described as her statement on her individuality and her homage to tradition. Ahead of the album, she released the new single

“‘Lesson’ isn’t just a reminder of rock music’s Black, queer and Southern roots, it’s also an unapologetic demand that we take our rightful place in the struggle for freedom,” Clark said in a press release.

Trans rocker Jordan Maye drops “Embers of the Learning Man” 
The Boston via Atlanta trans rocker released a percussion-heavy track laced with ‘60s classic rock psychedelid vibes. The single came out Aug. 2 ahead of her debut album Creation of Jordan Maye out Aug. 23. Her album will reflect what she’s lived through in her 21 years: mental health challenges, being a full time student at Berklee College of Music, going through the process of transitioning, all the while navigating relationships with family, lovers and friends.

leetham sings up queer love in latest single
Salt Lake City’s leetham celebrates queer expression in his music serving elements of pop, electronica and hyperpop. Late last month, the singer release his newest single “Just Can’t Get Enough” about the bliss of finding love.

Sammy Rae & The Friends will release its debut album Something For Everyone on Sept. 13 and then embark on its biggest North American Tour yet, but no Dallas dates listed. Fronted by queer singer Rae, the band is a collective of classically trained jazz musicians with shows often described as “a big queer church.”
