The Dallas Pride Weekend is now officially underway. Dallas Tavern Guild hosted a reception this evening (Thursday, Sept. 14) for parade committee members, honorees and others. DVtv in Spayse and Don’t Panic with Israel Luna keep the party going Friday afternoon, broadcasting live from JR.’s, on YouTube and Facebook, from 3-5 p.m.
The Miller Lite Music Festival in the Park, presented by T-Mobile, takes place Saturday, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., at Reverchon Park with live entertainment on four different stages all day long, including performances by Drag Race star Alyssa Edwards and singer Kristine W. For family-friendly entertainment and activities, check out the Family Pride Zone, and teens should head to the Teen Pride area for fun and entertainment. Admission is $10 (free for teens entering the Teen Pride area). Check Friday’s Dallas Voice in print and online or DallasPride.org for details.
And of course, the Lakewood Brewing Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade, also presented by T-Mobile, steps off down Cedar Springs Road at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17.
Don’t miss out on the fun.
