TMZ says Carrie Prejan’s mom made “homosexual allegations” against Carrie’s dad in a bitter divorce and custody battle that went on for more than a decade.
And then it got worse.
FROM TMZ:
The papers also quote a court-appointed doctor who said “The mother questioned [within hearing of the girls] whether [her father] was a homosexual or had a homosexual roommate.”
Carrie’s mom says the “gay” allegations went both ways. In court papers dated May 16, 2000, a report from the court-appointed counselor says “The mother also alleges the father told the girls their stepfather was gay, that all men with mustaches are gay.” The father’s response: “The father acknowledges talking with the girls about the stepfather’s brother being gay, not the stepfather.”
You people are sick. And I am sure your paper will mimic the demise of all the other liberal rags that can’t be bothered to actually report news and disappear. No one wants to read this garbage.
A contestant is asked a politically charged question at a pageant, She answers it. And the piling on began, and apparently goes on and on. This publication continues the attack on Ms. Prejean in a disgusting way – now by attacking her family.
We still have free speech in this country and people are allowed to have different views on issues. Make your case on the merits, not by attacking and smearing those with whom you disagree. All you are doing is damaging your cause with Americans like me, who were open to discussing gay marriage Now I am not because you all are a bunch of political thugs and crybabies.
And yet, Concerned Citizen, here you are, reading “this garbage” and taking the time to comment on it.
And Ms. Lopezz, have you ever heard the term “fight fire with fire”? The LGBT community has been pushed around, held down, beat up and even killed for so long by thugs and bullies — both political and otherwise, that some people feel they have no recourse other than to fight back with similar tactics. I myself prefer reasonable debate and discussion over mudslinging, but even I acknowledge there is no reasoning with some people.
So, Tammye Nash, expressing the same opinion as President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton (among others) regarding gay marriage is considered ‘pushing around, holding down, beating up and even killing’? And you believe that this kind of disgusting invasion of her and her family’s privacy is an ‘in-kind’ response? I would argue that your statement proves that the only people ‘there is no reasoning with’ are those militantly supporting gay marriage.
So because she doesn’t approve of gay marriages she’s a “hater”. I’m thinking that you sickos on the left are the real haters.
This is journalism at its absolute worst. To call Prejean a “gay hater” just because she believes in a clear, traditional definition of marriage is the kind of infantile, college-level thinking that’s destroying rational discourse these days.
The overuse of the word “hate” on the left is extremely revealing of their immaturity. It’s a word they’ve retained from childhood and adolescence, when any adult who thwarted their childish whims “hated” them. No, you can’t have a new pair of sneakers. “Why do you HATE me?” No, you can’t stay overnight at Rebecca’s. “Why do you HATE me?” No, you can’t have your own car. “Why do you HATE me?” As we get older and wiser, most of us come to realize that when people disagree with us, the motive is rarely “hate.” Not leftists. They go through their entire lives in the belief that every opposing viewpoint to their own is motivated by blind hatred and bigotry. This is because they can’t deal with the reasoning behind opposing viewpoints and they aren’t confident about their ability to use objective reason to debate an issue.
In the case of gay marriage, I would also like to take issue with the gay movement and its hypocritical view of “equal rights.” If equality is their goal and motive, then why are they so desperate to enjoy the legal and financial benefits of marriage, when those benefits are discriminatory in the first place? In other words, why should I, as a non-married person, be considered differently by the law? What about heterosexual couples who don’t believe in marriage but who have every intention of staying together as a couple? Why shouldn’t they enjoy the same benefits as a married couple?
The gay movement fights tooth and nail to have gays accepted into an institution which is prejudiced and exclusionary in the first place. If their motive really *were* equality then they’d be fighting for the rights of non-married couples to enjoy the same benefits as married couples. So when they claim “equal rights” as their motive I’m not convinced in the slightest.
It’s about time the leftist gay movement stopped to consider their glaring hypocrisy and the fact that these shrill attacks – which really ARE hatred – are doing nothing for their cause.
So how do you figure Barack Obama, Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton came into their homophobia?
They all hold exactly the same views as Prejean.
Not that any of you ever mention it. I trust we’ll see a similar expose on how Obama became a homophobe.
Right?
So, what does President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden’s “gay-hating” go back to? They both clearly stated many times, and during national debates, that “marriage” is an institution that should be defined as only between man and woman. I’m sure if you dig around in the trash long enough, you’ll find something.
We in the heterosexual community are waiting for you in the gay/lesbian community to acknowledge your hypocrisy. We’re waiting for you to dig around in Obama’s past and trash his family. I wonder if he has told his two young daughters that it’s wrong for gays to marry, as only a man and woman should? Do you think he’s passing his values on to his children? Don’t you want to persecute them, too?
We’re waiting for you to hate on him as pathetically as you hate on conservatives and republicans. We’re waiting for you to take a good long look in the mirror at your behaviors and actions and realize that as long as you continue to behave like 3 yr. olds throwing temper tantrums….no one is ever going to take you seriously or show you any respect.
You’re killing your own movement with hatred. And you’re simply too self-absorbed to see it. Sad.
Wait a minute. Being opposed to gay marriage makes you a gay hater? Damn, I know a few gay-hating gays. I’m heterosexual and opposed to all forms of marriage. I must hate everyone.
Actually, the only thing I hate is this crappy excuse for journalism.
Excuse me, ms. nash, but the “fight fire with fire†analogy is not going to work in that the majority of Americans do NOT share your sexual ethic! The gay fascism that is taking place by the minority.
In a democratic system, majority rules. And the bullying tactics of supposedly neutral rags are NO WAY to advance an agenda. You will NEVER win the majority, and we will oppose & fight back harder than EVER before now. And your minority position will only gain further disdain!
You cannot FORCE the acceptance of what you think is a right (which isn’t. This is not an argument about civil rights).
I couldn’t care less that the gay community feels like outsiders. It’s because their behavior is a social rarity. As far as being beaten up & killed…they have ALWAYS had constitutional rights not to be abused in such ways. ALL people have. And you, as a psychotic, are now promoting the beating up & killing of those who refuse to adhere to & vote for a minority view!?!?
It is precisely because of these tactics that your position continues to be taken as part of a lunatic fringe.
That is called FASCISM! If you think the American people are going to stand for this journalistic mafia behavior, I’ve got news for you!
This NEEDS to be commented on, wherever the nonsense is found! You don’t use papers to propogate a sexual ethic. If you want a fight, you’ve got it! We’ll fight back alright. The public smearing of a beauty contestant will come back to bite your fascist community, and bite back hard!
