Police are asking the public for information about a string of armed robberies at three different Gas Pipe locations over the last several days, the most recent occurring Thursday, March 15 at the Gas Pipe on Maple Avenue.
All three robberies have happened in the same manner and the Suspects in all three robberies match the same general description, police said.
Police have posted surveillance video (see below and on the Dallas Police blog) of the most recent robbery. Police say the two suspects — both black males between the ages of 15 and 17, entered the store, pointed handguns at the clerk and demanded money.
One suspect, armed with a black handgun, was wearing a red zip-up hoodie and orange shorts. He is the one who actually took money from the two registers.
The second suspect was armed with an AR pistol, and was wearing a black North Face jacket, a blue-and-white shirt, gray basketball shorts and a black mask.
The two suspects left the store and headed southbound on foot.
