Ron Shumway
Dallas Police today (Tuesday, Oct. 27) reissued a call for help from the public in locating Ronald Shumway, an Oak Cliff man who has been missing since April 25.
“Mr. Shumway resides at 725 N. Winnetka Avenue and he has not been seen or heard from since April 23, 2015,” according to a post entered today on the Dallas Police Department blog. Anyone with information on Shumway or his whereabouts is asked to call Detective Montenegro at 214-671-3624, in the DPD’s Homicide division.
A quick check of Shumway’s Facebook page shows a flurry of entries in the days leading up to his disappearance. On April 22, he posted an entry thanking friends for the birthday wishes. He posted a photo of a bumper sticker supporting Hillary Clinton on April 23, and on April 24 he changed his profile photo. The page hasn’t been updated since.
