Pax is a 1-year-old short-haired border collie-pointer mix with one blue and one brown eye. She’s an extremely happy and affectionate dog who bonds instantly and is eager to please. Pax loves to play and go on walks.
Butters is a beautiful buff-colored medium-haired tabby. He’s 2 years old and has a calm and quiet personality. Butters is loving and laidback and looking for a lap to call his own.
Pax, Butters and lots of other cats, kittens, dogs and puppies are available for adoption from the Dallas Animal Services Adoption Center, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland at I-30, just minutes west of Downtown Dallas. The shelter is open 7 days a week: Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 1 to 3:30 p.m. The cost to adopt is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and more.
