Sol Playa is a 1-year-old blue, shorthaired cat with white markings and big gold eyes. She’s playful and loves to pose for photos. Sol Playa is curious and has a playful personality. June is Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, and the perfect time to adopt this cute kitty.
PETS OF THE WEEK: BELLE
If you’re looking for a happy, friendly pup, look no farther than Belle. This gray-and-white Border collie mix is as friendly and playful as her photo implies. Belle is 7 months old and will weigh no more than 30 pounds when full grown. She bonds instantly and loves everyone she meets. You need to meet the beautiful Belle!
Sol Playa, Belle and many other dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are available for adoption from the Dallas Animal Services Adoption Center, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland at I-30 on the northeast corner. The shelter has new adoption hours and is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.; closed Mondays. The cost to adopt is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and more.
