Papi

October is “Adopt a Shelter Dog Month,” and it’s the perfect time to take Papi into your heart and home. He’s a 2-year-old, white-and-tan Chihuahua. Papi is friendly and very affectionate. He’s good with other small dogs and loves being held and cuddled. Papi is a sweet-natured little guy who’s looking for a loving home.
Papi and many other wonderful dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are available for adoption from the Dallas Animal Services Adoption Center, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland at I-30 on the northeast corner. The shelter has new adoption hours and is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.; closed Mondays. The cost to adopt is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and more. All dogs are negative for heartworms, and cats have been tested for FeLV and FIV. For more information, visit www.DallasAnimalServices.org or call 214-671-0249.
