Aaron is a 10-year-old sealpoint Siamese with beautiful blue eyes. His longtime companion, Clark Gable, is a handsome brown-and-white, declawed tabby. One of their beloved owners just moved to a nursing home, and the other is living in a homeless shelter. When Clark was just 6-months-old, he was found nailed to a board and beaten. Amazingly, he survived his ordeal and has lived a long and happy life until now. Clark doesn’t have many years left, and it will take a very special and caring person to adopt these two sweet boys together (for a special reduced cost). These wonderful kitties have been through so much. They truly deserve to spend their last years together in a loving home.

Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are available for adoption from Operation Kindness, 3201 Earhart Drive (near Keller Springs Road and Midway Road), Carrollton. The no-kill shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (until 8 p.m. Thursday) and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Cost to adopt is $110 for cats and kittens and $135 for dogs and puppies. The cost includes spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, vaccinations and other tests. Those 65 and above and those who adopt two pets at the same time get a $20 discount.
