Jambalaya is all decked out in festive finery just hoping for a home for the holidays. This adorable little guy is a 1-year-old tan terrier. He’s obviously a happy, friendly fellow. He’s also playful and good with other dogs. Jambalaya is a real cuddler who loves people and would love to go home with you.
Jambalaya and many other wonderful dogs, cats, puppies and kittens are available for adoption from the Dallas Animal Services Adoption Center, located at 1818 N. Westmoreland at I-30 on the northeast corner. The shelter has new hours for the winter: Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 12 noon to 5 p.m.; closed Mondays. The cost to adopt is $85 for dogs and $55 for cats and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and more. All dogs are negative for heartworms, and cats have been tested for FeLV and FIV. For more information, visit DallasAnimalServices.org or call 214-671-0249.

Oh Brother! I just forwarded this article to a friend of mine who is a dog owner and asked that she enter her dog into the “Pet of the Week” for Dallas Voice NOT realizing it’s for pets for adoption! Eeeeek!! LOL – she is gonna kill me!
It’s all well and good to help animals have a second chance at a happy and loving forever home but how about also showing success stories like me and my little Baccardi who is happy to have a loving mommmy (me) and wonderful uncles and aunties that care about him.
