Meet Orchid, a 2-year-old terrier pup who weighs 52 pounds and who’s great with people, with a heart full of love to give. She’s looking for a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. Once she feels comfortable, her friendly and loyal nature shines through, making her a wonderful companion.
Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Orchid has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all her necessary vaccinations. She is housed at the Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive; come by any day between noon and 6 p.m. to meet her. Animals are available for adoption at both the SPCA Dallas Animal Care Center and the Ellis County Animal Care Center, 2570 FM Road 878 in Waxahachie. Through Tuesday, Sept. 10, all adoptions at both SPCA of Texas locations are free.
