Meet Loki, a smart 10 1/2-year-old domestic shorthair mix who thrives on affection and enjoys the company of others. He has a sleek black coat and bright green eyes and weighs in at 10 pounds. Loki is best suited for a home with teens aged 15 and older and would prefer a home with another feline friend to keep him company.

Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Loki has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is in the Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, so come by any day between noon and 6 p.m. to meet him. Animals are available for adoption at both the SPCA Dallas Animal Care Center and the Ellis County Animal Care Center, 2570 FM Road 878 in Waxahachie. Through July 31, all adult dog and cat adoptions are free at the Dallas and Ellis County Animal Care Centers.
