Meet Tanker, an exuberant 3-year-old boxer mix weighing 69 pounds with a curious nature and a heart full of happiness. His boundless energy and playful demeanor make him the ideal playmate for outdoor activities. He’s highly treat-motivated, which makes training sessions a breeze. Tanker is great on a leash; however, he needs to meet kids younger than 10 and other dogs to ensure a harmonious home environment. His energetic nature is best suited for families who can match his lively pace and provide him with plenty of physical activity.
Like all pets from the SPCA of Texas, Tanker has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is in the Dallas Animal Care Center, 2400 Lone Star Drive, so come by any day between noon and 6 p.m. to meet him. Animals are also available for adoption at the Ellis County Animal Care Center 2570 FM 878 in Waxahachie. All adult dog and cat adoptions are free through July 31.
