It’s good to see that The Associated Press has picked up this story about Sarah Palin’s church promoting an upcoming conference on “ex-gay” therapy. (Dallas Voice reported this last Friday.) The McCain-Palin campaign has yet to respond to media inquiries about whether Palin personally believes it’s possible to “pray away the gay.” My guess is she probably does, but it will be interesting to see how the campaign chooses to address this issue, if it all. Meanwhile, The New York Times is reporting that Palin’s church also tries to convert Jews. More and more this whole thing reminds me of some news reels I once saw from the 1930s, but they were difficult to understand because the narration was in German!
