Alan Colvin of Dallas passed away Monday, March 30.
Alan had many classic cars over the years, including Corvettes, Pontiacs, Buicks and many Cadillac. He and his partner, Jack Lewis, were charter members of the Classic Chassis Car Club, with the group’s meetings held at their North Dallas home in September 1991.
Alan was very involved in Classic Chassis Car Club. He helped with several of the club’s Golden Girls events when it was Dallas’s turn to host, as well as with many other club activities.
Alan will be remembered for his constant smile, his knowledge of cars and his wonderful personality. He is survived by Jack Lewis, his partner of more than 50 years, and by many, many friends from all walks of life.
