Henry “Hank” Freitag, 47, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 10, 2015, at his home in northwest Dallas.
Because he was not known to be ill, his death was a shock to all who knew him.
Freitag was an art school graduate, and is survived by his best work of art, a 16-foot 1/16-scale model of the HMS Titanic that is being restored to it’s former glory. He was well known around the LGBT community and will be missed.
A memorial service will be held at the Cathedral of Hope at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
