North Texas residents Dawnetta Miller and Reed Bogle were among those elected recently as officers of the Equality Texas and Equality Texas Foundation boards of directors.

The new officers will help lead the organizations through a comprehensive strategic planning process and in preparing for the 2009 legislative session, officials said in a written statement this week.
