Tickets available at the door for Dessert Party at Frontiers of Flight Museum

The No Tie Dinner, an annual event benefiting AIDS Services of Dallas, will be held Saturday night, March 14, with the dessert party starting at 8 p.m. at the Frontiers of Flight Museum, 6911 Lemmon Ave.

The evening begins with smaller dinner parties in private homes, then guests from those parties will all gather at the museum to wind up the evening as one group.

But organizers stressed that even those who don’t attend one of the dinner parties earlier in the evening can attend the group dessert party.

The dessert party includes an open bar, a silent auction, a live auction entertainment and desserts from more than 17 top local restaurants — all for a $30 admission price. Tickets will be available at the door.

Organizers said 700 to 1,000 people are expected to attend.

Honorary co-chairs for the 2009 No Tie dinner are Mary Ann Thompson-Frenk and Anthony Chisom. For more information, go online to www.notiedinner.org.
