The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2, pictured — the finally film in the chastely sexy vampires-versus-werewolves series, opens Friday. Like Part 1, it is directed by the Oscar-winning gay scribe and director Bill Condon, who gave weight to Frankenstein filmmaker James Whale in Gods & Monsters. Also opening Friday is the foreign-language period romance A Royal Affair. And opening Wednesday: Silver Lining Playbook, a romantic comedy about mental illness starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence; and the Cold War action remake Red Dawn.
