In today’s print edition — you can link to it here — I profile the Four Legged Fashion show tonight at the Trade Mart. For space reasons, I only had room for one photo, a short-haired weiner dog in a tutu designed by Nicolas. But there were s-o-o-o-o-o many more cute pix, I had to share some.
One is a Chihuahua after my own heart: Madison, the one-eyed wonder who owns (you heard me) local actress LisaAnne Haram. My fondness for Madison, I admit, is because she is also a one-eyed Chihuahua, just like my pet, Popeye. (For the record, Terri Tomlinson BEGGED me to put Popeye in the show, but she was unwilling to meet our demands for billing, runway placement and dressing-room size).
Then there’s this sweet photo of a Pucci-style wrap from Abe Ferrin. Love the Veronica Lake over-the-eye look.
I’ll be there tonight; hope you will, too. But not Popeye — his agent thinks it’ll hurt his chances to get the national tour of “Legally Blonde” if he appears at a non-Equity production.
