Jimmy Joe Clarke, a 31-year-old Dallas man also known as Alicia, has been arrested and charged with murder after injecting silicone into the buttocks of a woman later found dead at Clarke’s makeshift salon on East Side Avenue, according to reports by NBCDFW.com, Channel 5.
Clarke was arrested earlier today (Wednesday, June 10), and was released after posting a $45,000 bond. He and Denise Rochelle “Wee Wee” Ross, 43, were previously charged with practicing medicine without a license in connection with their “cosmetic” practice.
Clarke’s arrest came after the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday, June 9, released autopsy results showing that Wakesha Reid died of pulmonary embolization associated with cosmetic silicone injections.
Police reports indicate that Clarke gave Reid the silicone injections to increase the size of her buttocks at the East Side Avenue salon. When she began to scream in pain, Clarke and Ross told her to be quiet. Before Reid left the salon, the two closed the injection holes in Reid’s buttocks with Super Glue and cotton balls, then gave her two tubes of Super Glue to take with her in case liquid leaked out of the injection sites.
