Earlier I reported that the Washington Secretary of State Web site was reporting that, with 100 percent of the ballots counted, voters had rejected the “everything but marriage bill.” But now, the site says that the vote is 52 percent-to-48 percent in favor of the measure.
I am not sure what the 100 percent figure means, but it obviously did not mean that 100 percent of the votes had been counted.
