Just when we thought Oak Lawn was melting into Uptown, the D Home and Garden blog has an entry about a new development called “Lower Oak Lawn in the Design District.”
Apparently, it’s an attempt to make the Design District more accessible and to capitalize on the tollway’s new Oak Lawn Avenue exit.
That’s fine with me as long as the realtors and other various marketing guru’s remember Oak Lawn is written as 2 words. It’s Oak Lawn, not Oaklawn.
