Dallas Flintstones win men’s B division at first World OutGames in Montreal

Volleyball was one of the most popular events at the first World OutGames in Montreal, which were held July 26 through Aug. 5. About 160 teams competed, and a Dallas team brought home gold.
Competition was divided into three levels for women and five levels for men. The Dallas Flintstones took the gold medal in the indoor men’s B division.
The Flintstones consisted of Andy Lee from San Francisco and six North Texans: Toby Aguilar, Alex Garcia, Brian Horalan, William Horn, David Radcliffe, Steven Shelton and Ignacio Vasquez, Jr.
In the semifinal, Flintstones beat Canada’s Darna! team, 25-12, 25-18. In the final, Flintstones beat Germany’s Rosa Panther team 25-16, 25-16.
Porn star skates to OutGames glory

Apparently, Brad Patton’s shapely legs were earned the hard way on the ice rink.
Patton, pictured, skated his way to two silver medals at the OutGames in Montreal.
Before he became a versatile Colt and Falcon Studios star, the Swedish-born Patton was a child figure skater and even performed a couple of Disney “On Ice” shows.
A series of knee injuries temporarily sidelined his triple-axel dreams. But the blonde hottie found another use for his studly gams.
The OutGames afforded Patton the chance to revive his life long passion. Patton competed under his birth name in the International Men’s Gold Class II Individual Figure Skating competition. He also took home two gold medals at the 2002 Gay Games VI in Sydney.

RUGGERS SOAP CARS FOR AIDS CLINIC

The Dallas Diablos Rugby Football Club holds a car wash on Saturday to raise money for a local HIV clinic.
The Peabody Health Center (a service of AIDS Arms) is South Dallas’ only HIV clinic. On July 9, the clinic was vandalized, causing major water damage, and thus displacing 635 patients. The Peabody is temporarily closed, and all staff and patients have been relocated to the administrative offices of AIDS Arms in Oak Cliff. Repairs and restoration for the clinic will exceed insurance coverage by $15,000.
Diablos players will scrub autos on Aug. 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Central Park parking, near the corner of Throckmorton and Cedar Springs Road. Suggested donations: $5 for cars, $10 for oversized vehicles. Proceeds benefit AIDS Arms’ Peabody Health Center.
