CSMA issues call for artists for art fest to raise funds for beautification effort
In an effort to continue raising funds for an Oak Lawn beautification project, the Cedar Springs Merchants Association is inviting artists working in all mediums to participate in the first annual Cedar Springs Merchants Association Art Fest 1, scheduled for Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Gus Klein is collaborating with the CSMA and is coordinator for the art fair. Klein previously organization the Throckmorton Street Art Fairs in 2003 and 2004.
To help raise money for the beautification efforts, artists are asked to donate a small percentage of their sales and an auction item.

The CSMA will sell a loyalty card rather than charge an entry fee to the festival. That loyalty card will provide a discount at participating merchants.

Artist applications can be downloaded at ShopCedarSprings.com, or an autoreply at CedarSpringsArtFair@Gmail.com will direct interested parties to the application.
