No Tie Dinner set for March 29

Officials with AIDS Services of Dallas announced plans this week for the organization’s annual fundraiser, the No Tie Dinner & Dessert Party, set for March 29.

The No-Tie Dinner begins with meals in individuals’ homes around the city, followed by a joint dessert and dance party at a single location. The 2008 dessert party will be held at the Frontiers of Flight Museum near Love Field, and will include a silent auction.

An ASD spokesperson said more than 600 people are expected to participate. Joe Pacetti, internationally acclaimed jeweler, will be honorary chair. Event chair is Dennis Kershner.
