Nodding Dog Caf? to hold pet costume contest to benefit Operation Kindness

Phil Johnson Archives, Library to sponsor fall book sale

The Resource Center of Dallas’ Phil Johnson Archives and Research Library will hold a fall book sale Nov. 1-4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The sale will be held at the John Thomas Gay and Lesbian Community Center, 2701 Reagan St., Nov. 1-3, and in front of the Nelson-Tebedo Health Resource Center, 4012 Cedar Springs Road, on Nov. 4. Also, Patricia Nell Warren will autograph her new book, “Lavender Locker Rooms” at the community center on Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. A portion of her sales will benefit the
archives and library.
