GAIN to tour senior living center
The Resource Center’s GAIN group for seniors will tour the new Avalon Apartments in Oak Cliff, an LGBT-friendly development for seniors, on Thursday, June 17.
Property manager Jeff Benton, who serves on the GAIN steering committee, will present a brief overview of the state of senior housing in the DFW area. When completed the property will have 2,000 units and include apartments, assisted living and nursing home facilities.
The Avalon is located at 2522 Fort Worth Avenue, next to the Home Depot at the site of the old Bronco Bowl. GAIN will meet at the Oak Cliff property at 6:30 p.m.
