Dallas-based musician Tim Stallman and the rest of the Lesbian and Gay Band Association perform for President Barack Obama during yesterday’s Inaugural Parade. And just in case parade-watchers missed the banner that preceded the band, the flamboyant baton-twirler (majorette) made sure they knew this was a gay group.
Ugh….that majorette drove me nuts. Glad at least that Fox covered the LGBA. CNN, MSNBC and the others all thought it was a good time to go to other stories. But we sure had to see and hear about the high school bands that were all performing beforehand. Oy.
yeah…wish I had watched fox now…cnn sucked…cspan showed them also. went online to see the actual parade. loved the majorette! he was saying, yes this is suppose to be a formal presentation of this band but hell I’m gay and I’m gonna be FABULOUS for this crowd.
