Two HIV/AIDS service organizations are holding open houses this weekend.

Legacy Counseling Center’s open house on Friday will highlight its new Homebase for Housing program with snacks and door prizes.

The new Homebase for Housing will help clients with HIV/AIDS who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless, locate affordable housing. The event is from 1–5 p.m. at Legacy, 4054 McKinney Ave. Ste. 102. Check out this video about the Homebase program:

• On Saturday, AIDS Interfaith Network will kick off the new year by holding an open house at the Daire Center from 10 a.m. to noon, providing informal tours and information. Click here to RSVP to Travis Gasper.

There will be complimentary mimosas, coffee, juice and pastries. This isn’t a fundraiser and there’s no cost to attend. AIN wants to thank the community for its support.

Then on Sunday, Miss Pekers Linze Serell presents Thank God I’m A Country Girl at 8 p.m. at Pekers with the proceeds benefiting AIN.
