Dallas lost one of its brightest queer stars when funnywoman Rasa Hollender, pictured, moved to Austin a couple of years ago. The former Punch Drunk Comedy dynamo (and Container Store slave) migrated to the Texas capital where (if memory serves correctly) mounted a production of QueerTown.
Hollender recently visited Big D for the Voices of Peace award, which went to Maya Angelou.
And she sent Dallas Voice a snippet of what she’s been working on: A video clip for the TravelChannel.com about beets, booze and the nude beaches on the southeastern shores of the Baltic Sea — Lithuania.
