I just got an e-mail in my inbox with the subject line, “anti-gay website or hoax?” So I opened it up and found information for the Web site domain name “GAYBEGONE.COM,” registered by someone called Mel Borin of San Antonio.
So I went to the site and found an “ad” for an “As Seen on TV” product called, of course, “Gay Be Gone.”
It asks the question, “Men … Are you constantly being hit on by homosexuals?” followed by the question, “Women … Are you having a hard time finding that perfect guy?”
If so, the site promises, you don’t have to “feel sad or frustrated anymore! Gay Be Gone is here!”
It includes a graphic of a spray bottle with Gay Be Gone on the label, a list of promises (like “Turns homosexuals in to heterosexuals”) and “testimonials” from customers.
Well, it’s obviously a joke. But what I can’t figure out who the joke is supposed to be on.
Go here and check it out. Be sure to read all the “fine print.” Then come back and tell me what you think? Do you think it’s funny? Or are you offended? Honestly, I can’t decide.
How about “Breeder-B-Gone”?
We could spray it all over Oak Lawn, and maybe get this neighborhood back to the funky cool it used to have.
I’m more disappointed than anything. It looks like what could be a great joke if it weren’t so lamely written. They could have done so much with it.
I think it is a joke website. I’ll check again when I’m online again
Reminds me of the Brotherhood of Pain’s LUEY commercial…Trick-Be-Gone!
HUH??? This part left me baffled:
“Women … Are you having a hard time finding that perfect guy?”
If so, the site promises, you don’t have to “feel sad or frustrated anymore! Gay Be Gone is here!”
So if a woman is having problems finding the perfect guy. . .keeping “Gays” away is the answer? LOL
I think it’s funny, really funny!
