As the full House continued to debate a repeal of “don’t ask don’t tell” at 5 p.m. Dallas time on Thursday, the Senate Armed Services Committee was also about to take up the issue. Trevor Thomas, a spokesman for the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network, reported that the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing began a few minutes before 5.
